Rabbi Shawn Israel Zevit is currently the lead rabbi of Mishkan Shalom, in Philadelphia, PA. Rabbi Zevit is a 1998 graduate of The Jewish Reconstructionist College and worked for the Jewish Reconstructionist Movement for fourteen years as the Director of Congregational Services, Outreach, and Tikkun Olam.
Rabbi Zevit has spent over thirty years consulting to and supporting dozens of congregations, organizations, social justice initiatives in the Jewish and larger world. He is a dynamic and widely known liturgist, teacher, performing and recording artist, and author. Rabbi Zevit is co-editor with Harry Brod of “Brother Keepers: New Perspectives in Jewish Masculinity,” as well as "Offerings of the Heart: Money and Values in Faith Community" and numerous other publications.
BABYSITTING AVAILABLE! Please register BY CLICKING HERE for your for your infant(s) through 6th grader(s). Our babysitting fee is $9 per child and registration is required no later than 3 pm on Friday, January 8.
