Yizkor Book 2023-2024 / 5784

Our beautiful Yizkor service is on Yom Kippur, Monday, September 25 at 5:30 pm and will be
held in person at B'nai West (Highlands Church) and livestreamed via Zoom.

Each year B'nai Havurah remembers departed loved ones  in our Yizkor Book. To add or update listings in our book, members and Friends of B'nai are encouraged to complete the form below.

Jewish tradition considers it a mitzvah to honor the memory of a loved one by giving tzedakah. We greatly appreciate your donation. In addition to defraying the cost of producing and printing the Yizkor book, your Yizkor contribution helps support religious, educational, cultural, and social programs at B'nai Havurah.

Ensure your loved ones are included in our Yizkor book by completing the form below.

To Members and Friends of B'nai Havurah:

Yizkor means "may (G-d) remember," from the root word zakhor, "remember."  It is the memorial service Jews recite four times a year: after the Torah reading on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret (the holiday adjacent to the end of Sukkot), the last day of Passover, and the second day of Shavuot.

Each year B'nai Havurah remembers our departed loved ones in our Yizkor Book.

We know that it is important that we correctly list your loved ones in our Yizkor book.  CLICK HERE to view your listing as it appeared in last year's book.  Please complete the Yizkor Book form below to make any corrections to your listings, add listings, and make a donation in memory of your loved one.

The Yizkor Book will be available online approximately one week prior to the service.  If you are attending Yizkor virtually but would still like a hard copy of the Yizkor Book, you may pick it up September 19 or 20, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.    If you plan to attend Yizkor in person, books will be provided at the service.  You are welcome to keep the Yizkor Book.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at tamara@bnaihavurah.org or 303-915-2927.

Please note that the deadline for submitting a listing or a correction for the 2023-2024 Yizkor Book is Friday September 8.  If we do not receive a new/corrected form from you by that date, we will assume that you wish your listing to remain the same.

May their memory be a blessing.
