Belonging to B'nai Havurah is about connection, giving, receiving and showing up with all of who you are. Even so, WE DO NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT to thrive. We invite all of our members to give both financially and as volunteers to our congregation. These Annual Gifts of the Heart are what make us a vibrant, healthy community.

SUGGESTED GIVING LEVELS

The suggested levels below are based on our expenses and the size of our community. Our fiscal objective is to cover 60% of our expenses through Annual Gifts of the Heart. In other words - even though they are self-selected levels, they are REALLY important! As always, there will be additional opportunities to support B’nai financially throughout the year.

Did you know that cash is not the only way to contribute to B'nai Havurah?

Donating appreciated securities -- like stock, bonds, or mutual funds -- can be an even better way to contribute. Check with your tax consultant to see if by doing so, you might be able to avoid paying taxes on the capital gains resulting from a sale and more goes to B'nai.

And if you are of eligible age for Required Minimum Distributions from your IRA, this method might satisfy that obligation too. Talk to your tax advisor, then contact Laura in the B'nai office for details on how to donate.
