First Class: Sunday, September 18
We will meet the first and third Sundays of each month, starting with Sept. 18 from 4:15-5:45 pm. The first class will at be B'nai Havurah, 6445 E. Ohio Ave.
Supplies
Computer or other device on which to access Google Classroom, other Google docs and materials, and the internet in general
B'nai Havurah will provide a three-ring binder, paper, pen, and pencils.
Google Classroom
Please be sure to include your your child's/children's email on the registration form. This is needed to register your child(ren) for Google Classroom, an important My Mitzvah tool that we will use often.
Tutoring
Depending on individual needs and interests, each student's family will arrange for a tutor for them at their expense. Fees may vary, but most are in the neighborhood of $35 per half-hour lesson. Tutoring is required if your student will be learning to read Hebrew, and/or will be reading or chanting Torah and/or Haftarah. Please click here for list of recommended tutors.
Choosing a B'nai Mitzvah Date
Please submit your first, second, and third choices for date and time. Please submit your preferences by October 1, 2022, so we can match students and dates by the middle of October. If you are not thinking of having a ceremony of any kind, let's chat.
