Sukkot in the Hood - Hosted by David and Ilana Fishman

Wednesday, September 26, 2018 17 Tishrei 5779

6:30 PM - 8:00 PMCook Park, S. Monaco and Mexico Streets

Experience the world as our ancestors did during their time in the wilderness and connect with your B’nai community with dinner under the Sukkah at a neighborhood near you!

All of our Sukkot in the Hood dinners are potluck style, with the hosts providing the main course.

Date:

Wednesday, September 24
Time: Begins at 6:30 pm

What's for Dinner?

David and Ilana's dinner is vegetarian: They will prepare a vegetarian/vegan lentil/squash stew with rice & roasted veggies. Guests are asked to bring a side dish of salad, hummus, cheese or dessert.  Also, feel free to bring a bottle of white wine, if you like.

Children are welcome, but the Fishmans do not have a booster chair highchair for the very young. They do however have craft supplies and games for anyone who cares to create and play!

Accessibility:

The home has one step leading into the living room; those with a can manage well, but it would be more difficult for those in a wheelchair to access the home.

Pets:

The Fishmans have one dog that has a big bark, but is very sweet.

Reservations:

Please make your reservation no later than September 23 for a charming gathering under a sukkah built on the backside of the Fishman home.

Please indicate under "notes" what you plan to bring to the potluck.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
