10:00 AM - 11:30 AMOn Zoom and In Person Outdoors at Lakewood Park, 150 S. Kipling, Lakewood, COServices led by Hal Aqua; D'var Daniel Taubman
Shabbat Shuvah, the Shabbat of Return, falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and continues the major themes of the High Holy Days -- reflection, repentance, and returning to our true selves. Join us for a morning of fellowship -- and take advantage of late-summer Colorado weather -- as we celebrate Shabbat Shuvah at Lakewood Park (the service will also be accessible on Zoom). Hal Aqua will lead us in prayer, song, and a special Amidah allowing us time to reflect upon the 20th anniversary of 9/11, and Dan Taubman will give us a D'var Torah on Parashat Veleilech, in which Moses reflects on the approaching end of his life's journey.
We will meet in Lakewood Park under picnic shelter #2, next to the volleyball court. (See photo, pictured to the right, click here for park map)
Parking is at the NE corner of Kipling St & Cedar Ave.
Light Kiddush Lunch will be served. All are welcome!
