Parshat Vayera (Genesis 18:1-22:24) is filled with a number of narratives, some of which are among the best known in all of the Torah.  Highlights of this portion include the story of Sodom and Gemorrah, the birth and binding of Isaac, and the interaction between Sarah, Abraham, Hagar and Ishmael.  Our discussion at the study minyan this week will focus on the unique and fascinating character of Hagar.  Please join us!
