Poetry and Song Shabbat

Saturday, December 20, 2025 30 Kislev 5786

10:00 AM - 12:00 PMB'nai East 6445 E. Ohio and Zoom

Join B'nai members Talia Winokur and Carla Sciaky as they lead us in a Shabbat service inspired by poetry and music.
During the service, poems will be juxtaposed with the traditional liturgy and chanting of the Shabbat service, allowing us to gain new insights from the prayers we know by heart. As always, we will remember our loved ones with Mourner's Kaddish and invoke a prayer for healing.

Our service will also include a special moment of appreciation for Laura, our beloved Director of Administration, who is retiring after Chanukah.
This is a chance for our community to express gratitude, and celebrate Laura as she moves into a new schedule full of relaxing on beaches, Grateful Dead music, and hanging out with her amazing family (and cats!).

Following the service, we will have a catered lunch in honor of Laura sponsored by the Board of Trustees.

Childcare will be available with pre-registration no later than Wednesday, December 17th at noon.  In addition to registering for childcare, please call Hannah at 303-388-4441 or email them at youthandfamily@bnaihavurah.org.

Register below and volunteer to help with set up/clean up if you can!
