For those of you who attended our 200 Conversations congregational meeting two weeks ago, or viewed the video recording of that meeting, you know we are about to embark on the next phase of the 200 Conversations campaign: direct actions related to the issues we identified as important to many of us.

Many of you have already signed up for one of our three groups. They are:

1) Defending Democracy - fundamental freedoms, due process, rule of law, free and fair elections

2) Immigration - direct service and advocacy

3) Social safety net - healthcare, aging, mental health, financial security

NEXT STEPS:

On Wednesday 8/20, 7-9 pm, and on Sunday 8/24, 2-4 pm, we will be holding community trainings for everyone who signed up for one of these groups. 

The trainings will be led by Jorge Montiel, our partner and trainer from Coloradans for the Common Good, who trained our 200 Conversations facilitators and who you all met at our community meeting. 

This is the first step of the action phase of our initiative, so please sign up for one of the two dates here: Both trainings will be identical - no need to attend both. The location will be provided when you sign up. Child care will be provided if requested at least 4 days in advance.

If you can’t attend either of the trainings, no worries - there will be a zoom option provided when you sign up, and the zoom will be recorded for people to view after the trainings as well.
