THIS EVENT IS FULL.
Our community has rallied, as always, and we have enough people for the project.
Thank you again,
Elizabeth Reder and Maggie Miller, organizers
Mordecai Kaplan, the founding thinker of Reconstructionism, teaches, “where there is no diversity, there is no freedom.” In this election cycle, we might consider his words a charge to lift up diverse voices through the electoral process.
Join us for a non-partisan, election-related project to defend our democracy together. We will spend our time together filling out postcards to key voters in swing states.
This current batch of postcards will -- with your help – be headed to voters in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia.
*Pennsylvania elections are for the state Supreme Court, Superior Court, the Pittsburgh’s mayor’s race and municipal contests in Philadelphia.
*New Jersey is holding elections for gubernatorial and legislative races.
*Virginia has races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and House of Delegates.
Postcards work, even if you impact a small percentage of the electorate, that has often been enough to change the results in a tight election.
