03/20/2020: We understand that our members have a lot on their mind right now. The last thing we want to do is add more stress during an uncertain and financially challenging time for many.

At this time, we request that you renew your pledge for 2020 membership. Payment is not required at the time of your pledge. To help us in planning, we do appreciate your best estimate of what your dues, Other Half, and Social Justice donation may be in 2020.

If you are not in a position to estimate what your 2020 donations may be, please indicate "other" under dues and leave the following field requesting a write-in amount blank or $0.

ADULTS IN HOUSEHOLD
Please complete information for ADULT #1
Please complete contact information for ADULT #2, if applicable

MEMBERSHIP DUES

Please note:
This year we are increasing our primary level dues by 6%. Maintenance and operational costs of our building have increased, as has a need for additional security. We have not increased membership dues since 2012. Sustaining level dues will remain the same.

By entering your pledge, you are committing to renew your membership for 2020. Given the turmoil and uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, you do not have to pledge a specific dollar amount or make a payment when you submit this form unless you wish to do so.

Once you complete the information on this page, you will be able to choose the frequency and method of your payment after you click Submit on the bottom of this form.

Please complete this membership pledge form no later than February 15, 2020 and schedule your payments to be completed by November 30, 2020.

If you would rather discuss your dues with our Executive Director, Becky Epstein, contact her at 303-388-4441 ext 15 or email her at exec@bnaihavurah.org.

03/20/2020: As always, and even more relevant today, B'nai Havurah will not turn anyone away due to financial hardship. We desire above all else during this time that our members stay connected and have the support of our community. No matter your challenging or uncertain financial situation, we welcome you!

Again, if you are not certain what you are able to donate for your dues in 2020, please leave this field blank.

Likewise, if you are unsure about your commitment to The Other Half and Social Justice funds, please leave those fields blank.

ANNUAL GIVING

THE OTHER HALF CONTRIBUTION

The Other Half is an essential part of our  $525,000+ budget!  The Other Half funds a number of programs that are important to our community, including our adult education, our youth education program, High Holy Days, Shabbat in the Park, in the Hood, and in our own building!

Thank you for making as generous a donation as possible within your capacity!

Gifts from our members and friends range from about $36 up to $5,000. Any level of giving is deeply appreciated!

SOCIAL JUSTICE AT B’NAI:  OLAM CHESED YIBANEH (we will build this world from love)

Your $18 annual donation per family member over age 13 sustains the work of our Tikkun Olam Committee as well as Social Justice coalitions approved through Positioning B’nai (our social justice policy) and supported by the activism and generosity of our members.

Please note: Each donation, unless noted otherwise, is split equally between our Positioning B'nai organizations and Tikkun Olam

In 2019, Tikkun Olam provided grants to more than 20 non-profit organizations. Grants go to projects that act on the Tikkun Olam obligation to repair the world. 2019 grant recipients include Reading Partners, Habitat Interfaith Alliance, Teach Men to Fish, Hunger Free Colorado, and many more. Go to bnaihavurah.org/tikkun-olam to learn more.

Through Positioning B'nai, our social justice policy, we have joined two high impact social action coalitions: Coloradans for the Common Good (CCG, formerly Colorado-IAF) and Colorado Faith Communities United Against Gun Violence (CFCU).

CCG (https://www.cocommongood.org/) has built a broad-based organization in the Greater Denver Metro area comprised of local institutions including congregations, unions, educational institutions, non-profits, and neighborhood organizations who share a concern for families and a passion for democracy and are led by their convictions, values, and faith to act for the common good.

CFCU (cfcu-co.org) is are a growing coalition of Colorado congregations and organizations that include the Abrahamic and other faith traditions working together to support legislation and policies at the state and national level designed to reduce the current levels of violence arising out of the improper use of firearms.

Your donation will be split between Tikkun Olam and our Social Justice activities. Thank you!
