The Torah of Climate Action: A Simchat Torah Celebration A Collaboration of B’nai Havurah, Temple Micah, and Colorado Jewish Climate Action

5:30 PM - 7:00 PMB'nai Havurah, 6445 E. Ohio Ave - walking to (or meeting at) Garland Park (AKA Lollipop Lake)- S. Monaco Pkwy and Cherry Creek

Join us for an all-ages event to celebrate Simchat Torah and raise consciousness about climate change! We’ll meet in the parking lot of B’nai Havurah, 6445 East Ohio Avenue, Denver, and march (and sing) with the Torah to nearby Garland Park, where we’ll gather at Picnic Site #2 at Lollipop Lake. (Anyone not able to do the walk is welcome to meet at the park.) The walk from B'nai Havurah to Garland Park is just under one mile. Please click on the link below to view a map of where we will meet, Picnic site #2.

Temple Micah’s Rabbi Adam Morris will give a teaching on Torah and ecology, B’nai Havurah’s Hal Aqua will lead us in rousing songs, and Jason Moses from Colorado Jewish Climate Action will point us toward actions we can all take to address the challenges to our fragile world’s health and well-being.
