Join our group studying the Tanach! This group meets Saturdays before Shabbat services, except on the first Saturday of the month when there is usually a Tot Shabbat. While B'nai East is under construction, our in-person meetings will be held at B'nai West (Highlands Church, 1700 S. Grant Street) and on Zoom. When there are no Saturday services, we will meet on Zoom only.
The text study begins at 9:00 am. In general, we use the JPS Tanakh Gender Sensitive Edition to study from: https://jps.org/books/the-jps-tanakh-gender-sensitive-edition . Knowledge of Hebrew is not necessary and registration is not required.
We hope you will come and study with us!
This week: Ezekiel 18 (RJPS 2023)
The word of GOD came to me:
What do you mean by quoting this proverb upon the soil of Israel, “Parents eat sour grapes and their children’s teeth are blunted”? *blunted In contrast to others “set on edge.”
