7:30 PM - 8:30 PMIn-Person at B'nai Havurah and on Zoom

Rabbi Katie is applying to be B’nai Havurah’s next rabbi. We are bringing her to Denver to meet our community and hope you, as a member, will be able to join us for one or more of the services or programs we have planned. In case you missed earlier communications about Rabbi Katie, please click here.

Havdalah with Rabbi Katie and Carla Sciaky
The theme for this interactive service is “Turning Points.”  For those joining us in-person, Rabbi Katie suggested that you bring with you a short poem, reading, song, or quote that relates to turning points, in your own life or in general, that you can share with the people in the room and on Zoom.  This is optional, and we may not have time for all of the contributions that you bring.  Please choose something that can be read, told, or sung in 3 minutes or less.

Registration for IN-PERSON participation (members) is full for Friday evening's, Kabbalat Shabbat and Saturday morning's Shacharit service. We do have available seats for Saturday evening's Havdalah service.

Of course, the seating is plentiful for Zoom participation! Please click on the links, below. All of our programs offered on Friday and Saturday are offered in-person and virtually on Zoom.

Please note that, in order to provide sufficient in-person space for our members, we are unable to welcome Friends (non-members) of B'nai Havurah in person.  Non-members are welcome to join us virtually for all services and our Learning Session and Open Forum.

Rabbi Katie and Carla Sciaky will lead Havdalah service which will include music and sharing of stories and poems around the theme of Turning Points.

For our Members Joining Us In-Person:  Covid Regulations as Determined by our Covid Safety Task Force (for this Shabbaton):

1.  We will have no communal meals such as Oneg, Kiddush, group lunches, or dinners.

2.  Everyone who signs up to attend a service or meeting in person must be masked, fully vaccinated, and symptom-free.

3.  We are able to allow up to 45 people to attend in person in the sanctuary for each of the services that are offered in-person. Registration for in-person attendance will be on a first-come-first-served basis. If you wish to come to B'nai Havurah for one of the three services offered in person, you will have the chance to indicate your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices on the registration form (see link below).

Note: If your 1st choice of services already has 45 people signed up, we will try to make room for you in your 2nd or 3rd choice. If you do not get into your 1st choice, you can still attend virtually. Some members may prefer to only attend services virtually.

4.  Please observe social distancing protocols.
