Family discord: Miriam is struck with leprosy after gossiping with brother Aaron against their little brother Moshe and his wife. In jealousy, she and Aaron claim the same powers as Moshe - that God speaks through them too.

At this Shabbat service we will examine why Miriam is struck with leprosy, and what Moses begs for in response.
