Entering its fifth year, Shabbat in the Hood is the perfect evening for members and friends seeking community in an informal and congenial outdoor setting. Members open their backyards for a potluck-style dinner with a little Shabbat ruach (spirit), music and fun. The evenings begin at 6:30 pm and usually conclude at about 8:30 pm.

We ask that potluck dishes serve 6 – 8 people and be dairy, vegetarian, or fish.  Please make your reservation below. If you have a lightweight lawn chair to bring, please bring it along with you. Not required – just helpful.  Exact addresses of our hosts will be provided once you make your reservation along with your confirmation for an engaging and casual Shabbat evening. Members and guests of all ages are warmly welcomed.
