Lunch & Learn: Chocolate Babka with Joan Wallis

Wednesday, December 9, 2020 23 Kislev 5781

12:00 PM - 1:00 PMZoom

A babka is a sweet braided bread or cake that originated in Poland and Ukraine's Jewish communities. It is popular in Israel and the Jewish diaspora. It is prepared with a yeast-leavened dough rolled out and spread with a filling such as chocolate, cinnamon, fruit, or cheese, then rolled up and braided before baking. en.wikipedia.org

Although not a Hanukkah dish per se, chocolate babka is served by many families at Hanukkah and makes a most welcome gift.

Join Joan as she shares her recipe and the tools needed to create a beautiful Babka in no time at all.
