Rabbi Evette is offering a beginning Talmud class for the LGBTQIA community. You do not have to be a member of the Queer community to participate in the class, but you do need to be an ally. All Faith's welcome.

The purpose of the group is to form a study community to take back our Jewish texts. We are beginning with the study of Mishnah, a compilation of Jewish code codified around the year 200 CE. We will start with the famous section called the Ethics of the Fathers, Pirkei Avot. A window into the earliest Jewish community leaders and how they thought.
