6:30 PM - 8:30 PMRabbi Evette and Shari live just one block east of 2-25, halfway betweeen Mississippi and Iliff.

Entering its seventh year, Shabbat in the Hood is the perfect Friday evening for members and friends seeking community in an informal and congenial outdoor setting. Members open their backyards for a potluck-style dinner with a little Shabbat ruach (spirit), music and fun. The evenings begin at 6:30 pm and usually conclude at about 8:30 pm.

Reservations required below. Members and guests of all ages are warmly welcomed.

Potluck assignments by last name:

A to E - Desserts

F to P - Main dish  
Q to Z - Side salads and other sides


We ask that potluck dishes serve 6 – 8 people and be dairy, vegetarian, or fish.  

For this particular Shabbat in the Hood, you are not required to bring your own lawn chair, though feel free to bring a blanket if you wish to sit on the grass.
