Hosted by B'nai Havurah members in their homes, Shabbat in the Hood offers the perfect opportunity for members and friends to enjoy Shabbat in an informal and congenial outdoor setting.

For June's Shabbat in the Hood, join us in the Sable Ridge
home of Rabbi Evette, Shari Abramowitz, and Geri Lutman 

 

  • Shari will be making her much-loved and delicious salmon sliders! 
  • Music with Hal Aqua and Annie Aqua!

Reservations required below. Members and guests of all ages are warmly welcomed. To protect our security, we will release Rabbi Evette and Shari's address one or two days prior to Shabbat in the Hood only to those who have registered.

Potluck assignments by last name:

A to E - Desserts

F to P - Main dish  
Q to Z - Side salads and other sides

 

We ask that potluck dishes serve 6 – 8 people and be dairy, vegetarian, or fish.  

For this particular Shabbat in the Hood, you are not required to bring your own lawn chair, though, feel free to bring a blanket if you wish to sit on the grass. A warm jacket is suggested.
