Pink & Teal Shabbat Saturday, October 17, 9:30 am-noon

In partnership with JEWISHcolorado and many other Jewish organizations in Colorado, B’nai Havurah is pleased to host Pink (& Teal) Shabbat. Pink and the pink ribbon is the universal color of breast cancer awareness while teal and the teal ribbon symbolize ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers.

Services will be led by Rabbi Evette Lutman with Music Director Hal Aqua. Carol Goldstein, B’nai Havurah member and survivor of ovarian cancer as well as a nurse and trainer of nurses, will speak to the congregation about her experience. All are welcome to join us for an Oneg Shabbat following services.

Community-wide Pink Shabbat® is an initiative of Sharsheret Supports™ JEWISHcolorado, a  first-of- its-kind collaboration between Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting Jewish women and their families facing breast cancer and ovarian cancer, and JEWISHcolorado to raise awareness and provide resources to community members facing these cancers.
