Kabbalah teachings on the month of Elul ask us to reflect on the past year by investigating that which we feel is broken or shattered and finding the hidden light within the darkness. Through text and the songs of Leonard Cohen we will gather strength to do the hard and necessary work of transforming darkness into light so we can return whole entering a new year of life.  Please register for this event below.

Dr. David Sanders, Founder and Executive Director of Kabbalah Experience, combines over thirty years of experience as both a psychologist and Kabbalist helping guide people to a deeper awareness and fulfillment in their lives. His own transformation from religious studies to mysticism intrigued him to n the study of Kabbalah to practical spiritual growth — helping others to challenge their perceptions of the way they view themselves and the world.  

Hal Aqua, B’nai Havurah’s Music Director, is a longtime fan of Leonard Cohen’s music and has included Cohen songs in his repertoire for many years.
