Sunday, February 7, 2016 28 Sh'vat 5776

11:00 AM - 12:00 PMB'nai Havurah Sanctuary

Our Religious School's Community and Family Education Day is Sunday, February 7th from 9:30 am to 12 pm and our topic is "Honoring Diversity: The Many Faces of Jewish Life".  We are very excited about the special programming and the extraordinary day of learning that we have planned for you and your family.  Please plan on bringing your whole family.

The theater group, PhAMaly will perform for us and stay and do a theater style talk back after their performance.  The PhaAMaly Theatre Company (formerly known as The Physically Handicapped Actors & Musical Artists League) produces professional scale plays and musicals year-round throughout the Denver Metro region, cast entirely of performers with disabilities across the spectrum (physical, cognitive, and emotional).  Their performance will be from 11 am-12 pm on Sunday, February 7th and click here to learn about this amazing program.  One needn't be a participating family in our religious school to attend.  The performance will be in our sanctuary and appropriate for all ages.

Throughout the month of February we will have Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion pins available for purchase for $10.00 each.  Wearing the new JDAIM pin sends the message that you and B’nai Havurah are committed to inclusion. It's a great conversation starter too!   Five Dollars from every sale goes to support Inclusivity education and training at our school.

Order and pay for your pin, below, or purchase one or more at upcoming inclusivity events at B'nai Havurah.  In the notes section, please provide us with your email address so we may contact you.

The performance by PhAMaly is brought to us through a generous grant of:
