Have you ever wondered about symbols and text written on our Jewish gravestones?  Come and learn about Jewish burial practices (first class) and join Rabbi Evette on a field trip to local Jewish Cemeteries. 

For the first class on March 1, Rabbi will discuss text study around burial traditions.  We will be using our new B’nai Havurah Mourning guide prepared by Jennifer Weiner (Chesed) and Rabbi Evette.

The second class is scheduled for March 8, 1:30 – 3:30 pm.  We will be going to visit 3 cemeteries:  Rose Hill, Mt. Nebo, and Fairmount.   Participants will leave from Etai’s Café and Bakery in Stapleton (7357 E. 29^th Avenue) at 1:30.  Arrive by 12:15 pm to enjoy lunch with Rabbi Evette.  Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
