Entering its sixth year, Shabbat in the Hood is the perfect Friday evening for members and friends seeking community in an informal and congenial outdoor setting. Members open their backyards for a potluck-style dinner with a little Shabbat ruach (spirit), music and fun. The evenings begin at 6:30 pm and usually conclude at about 8:30 pm.

Reservations required below. Members and guests of all ages are warmly welcomed.

Potluck assignments by last name:

A to E - Desserts

F to P - Main dish
Q to Z - Side salads and other sides

We ask that potluck dishes serve 6 – 8 people and be dairy, vegetarian, or fish.

We will have some seating available for both Shabbat in the Hood and Shabbat in the Park, but if you have a lawn chair or two or a picnic blanket to bring, it would be appreciated.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
